BRIDLINGTON GOLF CLUB
Working with our long-time client we aided in the redevelopment of Bridlington Golf Club’s old 16th hole. After finding and acquiring the site we dealt with the planning, design and predevelopment work, allowing for the construction of 22 luxury new homes and a new hotel, which has resulted in the long-term security of the Golf Club.
CHAPLE HEIGHTS DURHAM
We assisted a long term client in sourcing and securing a former scrapyard, on a subject to planning basis, in the historic City of Durham. We then worked through a particularly difficult planning process, due to the site neighbouring a listed ancient monument and being in the line of sight of the World Heritage Site, Durham Cathedral. We successfully delivered an award-winning scheme of 220 student apartments. At the same time as helping to secure planning permission we also structured a forward funded deal with a student housing provider so guaranteeing our client a sale before construction had commenced on site.
MANSION GATES CHAPEL ALLERTON
Working on the redevelopment of a grade 2 listed former mansion house and it’s walled gardens we helped our client deliver an Award Winning housing development which saw the listed building converted into 6 new homes and 12 newbuild houses delivered within the grounds of the mansion. After we secured the site on a subject to planning basis we helped the project team navigate the complex planning and conservation constraints and then assisted our client through the entire build process. We also helped to sell the completed development, setting up initial legal documents and handling plot transfers – this really was a start to end project for us.
WHINMOOR EAST LEEDS
For a number of years we have been working with our client to take their 34 acre agricultural site from a piece of strategic land to a development opportunity. To date we have helped to deliver an allocation and an outline planning permission for up to 300 new homes. We have also assisted with the negotiation of a Collaboration Agreements with 2 neighbouring developers. We are currently in the process of getting the site ready to go to the market and will handle the whole process for our client, from reviewing initial offers through to negotiating the sale documents and thereafter working with the chosen development partner to deliver a timely planning permission that allows the sale to be completed.
